MODENA – PARMA – BOLOGNA
ALL INCLUSIVE TOUR
Day 1
Arrive in Modena under own arrangements, check in to central 4 star hotel
19.30 hrs: dinner in a local restaurant
Menu: tortelloni pasta with ricotta cheese and spinach in aurora sauce, prosciutto from Modena and grana padano cheese, fresh fruit salad. Water and 1 glass of wine or beer included.
Day 2
Breakfast at your hotel.
09.00 hrs: visit Bio Hombre cheese factory including a tour of the farm and collection of vintage cars followed by a tasting of produce:
Selection of Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses (aging 24/36 months)
Balsamic Vinegar DOP made on the premises for over 25 years
Cubes of Mortadella cold cut from Pedrazzoli delicatessen
Crostini and/or grissini
Lambrusco Grasparossa wine from the cellars of Villa Corlo

11.00 hrs: visit Ferrari museum – Via Dino Ferrari, 43, Maranello (entry ticket included in package price).
13.00 hrs: lunch at Caffe Concerto in Piazza Grande, Modena, brunch menu including approx 20 dishes including first and second courses, desserts and fruit, drinks not included.
15.00 hrs: meet your guide in Piazza Grande, Modena, for a walking tour of the city centre (Duomo, the outside of Palazzo Ducale, via Emilia, Palazzo Comunale)
19.30 hrs: dinner at local restaurant
Menu: garganelli pasta with speck and rocket, thinly sliced veal in a tuna mayonnaise served with russian salad, custard cake, water and 1 glass of wine or beer included.
Overnight at your hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast at your hotel
08.00 hrs: depart for Parma by private coach
09.00/09.30 hrs: Arrive Parma, meet your guide and enjoy a guided tour of the city centre (Farnese Theatre, Duomo, Baptistery, Church of St. John the Evangelist).
12.30 hrs: lunch in a local restaurant in the city centre.
14.30 hrs: depart for the Langhirano hills.
15.00 hrs: visit a ham producer and taste Parma ham.
17.00 hrs: visit Torrechiara Castle
18.00 hrs: return to Modena hotel
19.30 hrs: dinner in a local restaurant
Menu: lasagnette all’emiliana (meat lasagne), mixed boiled meats with roast potatoes, tiramisù, water and 1 glass of wine or beer included.
Overnight at your hotel.
Day 4
08.30 hrs: depart for Bologna by private coach
09.30 hrs: meet your guide in the city centre for a guided tour including tastings in historic shops in the centre: chocolate, DOP Parma ham, parmigiano reggiano DOP cheese, felino salami, IGP mortadella, home made pasta, icecream, local wines (Sangiovese di Romagna DOC, Pignoletto Colli Bolognesi DOC, Rosso Bologna DOC) min. 30 pax divided in 2 groups, duration 6 hours.
Free time for shopping at the end of the tour.
The tour includes:
Qualified english speaking tour guides, full day
Visits and tastings in traditional small shops (tastings instead of lunch)
The visit will include: Piazza Maggiore, with Palazzo d’Accursio, San Petronio (entry ticket included), Palazzo del Podestà, Palazzo Comunale, Palazzo dei Notai, Palazzo dei Banchi, Palazzo dell’Archiginnasio, medieval market, Piazza Santo Stefano, Piazza della Mercanzia, Two Towers, Case Seracchioli, Torre Baglioni, Torre Prendiparte, Palazzo Grassi, Finestrella di Via Piella, Torre Galluzzi.
NB: The visits will not take place in the above order.
The buildings/monuments we will also visit on the inside are San Petronio, Palazzo dell’Archiginnasio, Sala Borsa. Santo Stefano if time permits.
18.00 hrs: return to Modena by coach
19.30 hrs: dinner in a local restaurant
Menu: risotto with balsamic vinegar, escalopes of veal with vinegar served with mashed potatoes, Barozzi cake. Water and 1 glass of wine or beer included.
Overnight at your hotel.
Day 5
Breakfast at your hotel.
Depart under own arrangements.
End of services.
